17 March 2020: Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and in the interest of protecting the health of users, the Brown Hill Community Hall is closed until further notice. At this stage we will not be taking any bookings. Please check back here in the future for updates.
The Brown Hill Hall was officially opened on the 2nd December 1966 by the then Mayor of Ballarat CR. L. Kennedy, and remains a venue well utilised by the local community. The hall is managed by a special committee on behalf of the City of Ballarat.
Regular users of the hall include the Wendouree Old Time Dancers, Parents without Partners, NuLine Dance, Taekwondo, Senior Citizens and Heart Health exercise classes. The hall is also suitable for private functions such as birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, reunions, meetings and dances. The hall is situated on the Brown Hill Reserve which has a gazebo and children’s playground making it ideal for family events
Sorry, no teenage, 18th or 21st birthday parties. Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings.
