The Brown Hill Hall was officially opened on the 2nd December 1966 by the then Mayor of Ballarat CR. L. Kennedy, and remains a venue well utilised by the local community. The hall is managed by a special committee on behalf of the City of Ballarat.
Regular users of the hall include Parents without Partners, Taekwondo, Senior Citizens, Ballarat Rockers, ElDorado Line Dancing and Senior Exercise Classes.
